accessibility statement

Our commitment to an accessible venue and website, and how to request accommodations.

01

Our commitment

Demo Room is committed to providing an inclusive, accessible experience for everyone, both in our space and on this website. We aim to meet or exceed the requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and to continuously improve.

02

The venue

Demo Room is designed to support accessibility requirements, including accessible entry, accessible and gender-neutral washrooms, and a flexible ground-floor layout. If you have specific accessibility needs for a visit or event, contact us in advance and we will do our best to accommodate them.

03

The website

We aim for this site to align with WCAG 2.1 AA guidance: semantic structure, descriptive alt text on meaningful images, keyboard-operable navigation and controls, visible focus states, and sufficient colour contrast. Motion respects the "reduce motion" setting on your device.

04

Ongoing improvements

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We review the venue and website periodically and address issues as we find them or as they are reported to us.

05

Feedback and accommodations

If you encounter a barrier on this website or need an accommodation for a visit, tour, or event, please let us know and we will work with you on an alternative. We welcome feedback on how we can improve.
