The terms that govern your use of this website and our venue, booking, and production services.
Agreement to these terms
By accessing demo-room.com, requesting a tour, or booking the venue or any service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are booking on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to bind that organization. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services.
About Demo Room
Demo Room is a 16,000 sq ft modular creative venue and production compound located at 307 Lakeshore Blvd. East, Toronto, ON M5A 1C1. We provide venue rental, event bookings, and integrated production services. Specific deliverables, dates, and pricing for any engagement are defined in your proposal, quote, or booking confirmation, which form part of these terms.
Bookings and reservations
Tour requests and booking inquiries are submitted through the site, by email, or via our scheduling tool. A booking is only confirmed once we issue a written confirmation and any required deposit is received. Holds are tentative and may be released if not confirmed. We reserve the right to decline or cancel a booking that conflicts with our policies, safety requirements, or availability.
Payments, deposits, and taxes
Payments are processed securely by our third-party payment processor (Stripe). We do not store your full card details. A deposit may be required to confirm a booking, with the balance due on the schedule set out in your confirmation. All prices are in Canadian dollars and exclusive of applicable taxes (including HST) unless stated otherwise. Late or failed payments may result in cancellation of the booking.
Cancellations and refunds
Cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms. Please review it before booking.
Use of the venue and conduct
Use of the venue is subject to our posted safety, capacity, and conduct rules, including the prohibited-items list, bag policy, age and ID requirements, and Fan Code of Conduct described in our FAQ. You are responsible for your guests, vendors, and contractors, and for any damage caused during your booking. We may remove individuals or end an event for unsafe or non-compliant behaviour without refund.
Vendors and outside services
Outside vendors may be permitted with prior approval and proof of insurance where required. You are responsible for the conduct, deliverables, and compliance of any vendor you engage. Some services are provided in-house or through our trusted partners as set out in your booking.
Liability and insurance
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Demo Room is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of property, data, or profits arising from your use of the site, venue, or services. Certain bookings may require you to carry event liability insurance naming Demo Room as additional insured. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Intellectual property
The Demo Room name, logo, site design, text, and media are owned by Demo Room or its licensors and may not be used without written permission. Content you submit (such as inquiries or briefs) remains yours, but you grant us the rights needed to respond to and deliver your booking.
Third-party services
The site uses third-party services including Stripe (payments), scheduling tools, an embedded map, a 3D virtual tour, and video hosting. Your use of those features may also be subject to the third party's own terms and privacy practices.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted at the time of your booking applies to that booking. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. Any disputes are subject to the courts located in Toronto, Ontario.
